Why We Built
HSKExam.net

The idea behind HSKExam.net is simple: make truly valuable HSK learning resources more accessible and affordable for Chinese learners worldwide.

The Problem We Saw

Over the past few years, we noticed that many HSK preparation websites share the same problems:

  • Resources are scattered — hard to study systematically
  • Large amounts of content locked behind paywalls
  • Official past papers are incomplete or missing
  • New HSK 3.0 information is confusing and contradictory
  • Many sites haven't been updated in years
  • Beginners struggle to find a trustworthy learning path

With the full rollout of New HSK 3.0 in 2026, it's become even harder for learners to find resources that genuinely align with the updated exam standards.

So we decided to build a platform that is clearer, consistently updated, and truly learner-centered.

The New HSK 3.0 is one of the biggest reforms in Chinese proficiency testing in years. We are continuously compiling:

A More Natural Way to Learn Chinese

We believe language isn't acquired through rote memorization. Beyond exam resources, we also provide:

Our goal: help learners not just pass the exam, but truly understand and use Chinese.

Who We Are

HSKExam.net was independently created by a product manager from China.

The creator has a long-term background in internet products and digital work, with ongoing research in:

While supporting his child through English learning, the creator gained deeper insight into the principles of second language acquisition and began to rethink a fundamental question:

"How should non-native speakers learn Chinese more effectively?"

What started as a personal project has gradually grown into a long-term, continuously evolving Chinese learning platform.

Our Philosophy

Free First

We believe high-quality foundational learning resources shouldn't have high barriers. The vast majority of HSK past papers, sample tests, and core resources will remain free, permanently.

Long-Term Commitment

We're not building a site that goes silent after a few months. Over the coming years, we will continuously track HSK 3.0 changes and keep improving both content and learning experience.

AI + Education

We believe AI will transform language learning. In the future, we plan to introduce AI mock exams, AI speaking practice, intelligent vocabulary training, AI writing feedback, and personalized learning pathways — helping learners study Chinese more efficiently.
