HSK Level 6 is high proficiency level of New HSK 3.0.
Learners need to master over 5400 vocabulary words and full-range Chinese grammar, with solid mastery of Chinese characters. They are able to understand complex texts, news reports, literary works and in-depth discussions, and express ideas accurately, fluently and elegantly in both spoken and written Chinese. The exam evaluates comprehensive language competence including listening, reading and writing. It covers extensive topics such as culture, history, society, philosophy and current affairs. Equivalent to CEFR C2 level, learners can use Chinese proficiently in academic research, professional work and all kinds of sophisticated communication scenarios.
